United Way of Union County is a voluntary effort to increase the organized capacity of people who care for one another.
Nearing 100 years of service to Union County
United Way has been in existence for over 120 years and in Union County since 1962, although originally known as the El Dorado Community Chest since 1933. United Way's mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities. More than 1,350 local United Ways raise and invest significant resources to build strong, healthy communities.
United Way of Union County is governed by a board of local community leaders and makes decisions based on local needs and values.
